Discovery Park is a fun destination for families living in new homes in Meridian ID. For those who move into the new Pinnacle community, the park will be right next door.

Located at 2121 E. Lake Hazel Road, Discovery Park covers 27 acres and is full of things to do. The playground has separate structures for toddlers and older children. There’s a sand and water play area, a seasonal splash pad and roller slides. For more adventure, the park offers a climbing wall, rocks to climb on and a zip line.

Young minds will get a workout as well with hidden creatures for kids to find, a nature-themed photo station and interpretive panels featuring Idaho state symbols.

Other park amenities include a fenced dog park, illuminated ball fields, lawns, a performance area with a stage, specialty gardens and a concession stand.

The park also has picnic shelters that can be rented for gatherings. Charcoal grills and electrical outlets are available at the shelters. They must be reserved in advance through Meridian Parks and Recreation.

Our upcoming Pinnacle community will be adjacent to Discovery Park. Residents can have access to all the park’s amenities just steps from their own front door.
